Taqueria Tc Latino in Traverse City

Food looked great but once you took a bit it was very bland in flavor. I was very dissapointed. The only thing that was good was the marinated pork taco.

Literally everytime I am in Traverse City, I make a point to come here. They have a simple menu that they make fantastically; I have yet to find something I don't find delicious. This location is outside of the main downtown area, but as such, it helps give this place a wonderful hole in the wall feel. If you like Mexican food, you need to come here!

Very good food and reasonably priced

Have been meaning to stop here for quite a while now. I'm glad I finally did. I love small out of the way places like this. Always find some of the best food this way. Very friendly service also. The chicken tacos were very tasty, but the steak was out of this world. Had the steak burrito also. Made it halfway through that when I realized I better stop eating. I was already full. The portions are great and the price is very reasonable for what they offer. Plan to make this a semi-regular stop now. Highly recommended

Food was great! There was a wait but the hostess was gracious, polite and greeted and stayed in communication with us-very apologetic! the employees wore masks but the patrons did not-FYI

I go here every time I'm in TC for tamales to take home. It is true mexican food at it's best.

Very small. Not enough seating for everyone. Only needed one waitress. Meat was very bland. Chips are bought and I wouldn't say things were from scratch. Prices weren't Over priced but I don't think we'll go again. Presentation of food was good but taste didn't match it. My meat had chunks of fat. Not a little fat on the meat. 100% pieces of square fat.

This place is AMAZING! oh my goodness Y-U-MMMM! if you love authentic Mexican food this is a must! Everyone was very friendly and service was quick. You can dine in or take out. You can't go wrong here.

Wife and I loved the tacos here! We tried the lingua, asada, and chorizo tacos which were all excellent. The prices are very fair compared to other taquerías around the state.

Wonderful little hole-in-the-wall looking place, older but very clean. Smart diners try places like this looking for unique food. My friend’s food was great. My meatless burrito, not so. But we looked for vegan/vegetarian options. I will return and order something more in line with traditional Mexican food. As I said, my friend thought her order was really good.One person served, ran the register, took to-go orders & it took very little action for her to be busy. We did not get chips we ordered as appetizer. The rest of the food came pretty quickly so we didn’t really miss them.I also like the beverage selection and took a horchata to-go instead of dessert. As a cooler it was perfect. If I take as a dessert I would probably ask for it with no ice next time.I will be back, probably every time I visit TC.

Real deal Mexican restaurant stuck in the most out of the way place. Finding this place is half the battle, but the food is fantastic. Real authentic Mexican with home made salsa and desserts. Menu is easy to follow and prices are extremely reasonable. Friendly staff as well. They only have 5 or 6 tables, but both times I have eaten here there hasn't been a wait. Enjoy

I normally don't leave bad reviews but good grief. I ordered over the phone and was told to give them 15 min to get the order ready. I showed up about 10 minutes later to pick up the order understanding that there would be a small wait. I paid, and then waited 20 minutes while other orders showed up. Once my order was put on the counter, She proceeded to check out a large party individually while my food was sitting on the counter getting cold. I would have just ran up and grabbed it, but none of the orders on the counter were organized or bagged. After all of the party paid she bagged my order and brought it out to me with no apology or even a word. Just the typical we screwed up smile and I proceeded out the door. Total lapse time from call to picking up food: 50 minutes. A simple sorry for the wait, or any way of making it right would have went a long way. Customers lost.

Neat little place on the side of the road, didn't even notice it right away. Authentic Mexican with simple but tasty options. Check it out when you want something a little different and don't want to go into the busy areas of town.

Great food!! But not the best service. There are only 6 tables in there & the both times we’ve been in there they only came to bring us our drinks and for, then never checked on us again. We sat with empty drinks for awhile.

Best Mexican food in Traverse hands down

The food is good, the portions are terrible!!! Don't go hungry, if your looking for a yummy snack though the food is good, but you pay full price... They used to have better portions, personally it's not worth it for this small family

Super great carnitas! Nice authentic tacos and great burritos as well. So much meat in the burritos makes it a great value.

Authentic Mexican cuisine at a very reasonable price. If you're looking for a menu rife with options you may want to look elsewhere, but the one's they do offer are very good. Drink options are also limited, but who really cares? Friendly staff, quick service. 👌

For anybody seeking out tasty, authentic Mexican food, definitely check out this spot. This unassuming little blue building proves that you don't need gimmicks to get by, all you need is a few tables, consistently good food, and some seriously solid hot sauce. Go.Now.

Better than restaurant quality while only slightly more expensive than fast food. All meats are seasoned very well. Sauces are delicious. Authentic Mexican snacks and desserts are available too which is cool.

Finally some decent Mexican food up North! Being from Texas, my husband and I are constantly disappointed in our favorite cuisine but this place pleasantly surprised us. Prices are very reasonable. Food is tasty. Especially the tortas and tacos al pastor. Watch out for their green sauce, it's got some heat! We will definitely be regulars here!

Great little Mexican restaurant. The tacos are some of the best, and the guacamole is outstanding. Everything we tried here was really good.

Very busy place! The beef taco was half unchewable meat and it was the same in the burrito. The chorizo and pork tacos were very good - I added the green and red sauces. The fish taco was outstanding, I’ll be back for fish tacos.

The first time we went the food was great. The second time we were there the food wasn't good and it was cold. I will not be back

This little place was so packed when we walked in the door, we almost walked back out. SOOO happy that we didn't!! Even as busy as they were, the service was amazing, both of the servers ran their butts to make sure everyone was taken care of! The food was a little slow coming out (totally expected it to be, very busy) but man oh man was it worth the wait! And with as hungry as I was I didn't take pictures but NEXT TIME!

Absolutely amazing food! The prices are fantastic and should be higher for the portions. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is quick.The inside is quaint and they have covered outdoor seating.I got a burrito last night and had to come back with the rest of the family today for lunch. Everyone left full and more than satisfied.

Visit the taqueria and it is small and comfortable. great service. But I think the tacos need a little more meat. for 2 dollar a taco. and more spicy sauce.

We found this place online after a search for Mexican restaurants. We called in a carryout order since we weren't sure whether the place had available seating as it appeared small in the photos online. This is a great authentic taco joint. It is small, but there are several tables inside. We were looking for exactly this kind of place and we were really happy to find it in the area. We tried the steak and chicken tacos (all on corn tortillas) and a couple different salsas. Everything was fantastic. (My dog loved his steak taco. Haha.) I will definitely come back here if I am in TC.
